Celebrate European Geoparks Week at the Europe's Largest Crater Lake on 23.5.-7.6.2026. Join our trips, fairs and workshops for memorable times! All events are free and open for anyone. Impact Crater Lake Lappajärvi UNESCO Global Geopark in Finland welcomes you!

European Geopark Weeks 23.5.-7.6.2026

European Global Geoparks Weeks are celebrated in Geoparks across Europe in May–June 2026. In Impact Crater Lake Lappajärvi UNESCO Global Geopark, a diverse programme will take place in Alajärvi, Evijärvi, Lappajärvi and Vimpeli from 23 May to 7 June. During the weeks, there will be workshops, nature and birdwatching excursions, lectures, a cosmic pub quiz… and much more!

European Global Geopark Week 2026

European Global Geopark Week 2026 is coming again!

The European Global Geoparks Weeks will be celebrated in Geoparks across Europe in May–June 2026. In the Kraatterijärvi Geopark area, a diverse programme will take place in Alajärvi, Evijärvi, Lappajärvi and Vimpeli! During the weeks, there will be workshops, nature and birdwatching excursions, lectures, a cosmic pub quiz and much more! The full programme will be published soon in April!
