Impact Crater Lake Lappajärvi UNESCO Global Geopark Partnership Network

Impact Crater Lake Lappajärvi UNESCO Global Geopark Partnership Network brings together businesses, associations, and other stakeholders in the area who wish to help strengthen the values and visibility of the Geopark. As a partner, you may use the Impact Crater Lake Lappajärvi Geopark- partner logo in your communications and become part of a shared marketing and cooperation network.

What is the partnership network?

The partnership network is Impact Crater Lake Lappajärvi Geopark’s cooperation model in which local stakeholders commit to promoting sustainable development, respect for local identity, and environmental responsibility in their own activities. The network increases awareness of the Geopark and helps visitors find services, products, and experiences within the Geopark area.

What are the benefits of partnership?

  • Visibility in Geopark channels: the partner’s name may be published on the Impact Crater Lake Lappajärvi Geopark’s website, and the partnership may be communicated through Geopark channels.

  • Partner logo for communications: you receive the right to use the Impact Crater Lake Lappajärvi Geopark’s logo on your own website, social media, and marketing materials in accordance with the guidelines.

  • Trust and a sustainability message: the partnership demonstrates commitment to the values of the Geopark and to responsible operations.

  • Network and cooperation: an opportunity to participate in joint campaigns and cooperation with other stakeholders in the Geopark area.

How to become a partner

  1. Complete the notification/commitment form: provide the company’s or organisation’s details (name, Business ID, contact person, and email address) and indicate where you intend to use the partner logo (e.g. website, social media, product packaging, brochures).

  2. Read and commit to the terms of use: by signing, you confirm that you will follow the Geopark’s values and the logo usage guidelines.

  3. Approval and logo materials: once the commitment has been received, you will receive instructions and files for using the partner logo.

  4. Partner communications: the Geopark organisation may send you communications related to the partnership and current updates.

What is expected from a partner?

  • Commitment to values: the partner promotes sustainable development, respect for local identity, and environmental responsibility in its activities.

  • Proper use of the logo: the partner logo is intended for the partner’s own communications. The logo may not be altered, stretched, or recoloured; it must be used in accordance with the provided graphic guidelines.

  • Clarity and honesty in communications: the logo may not be used in a way that gives the impression that a product or service has been officially inspected or certified by UNESCO or the Geopark organisation.

  • UNESCO and other logos: the partnership applies only to the Impact Crater Lake Lappajärvi Geopark’s logo, not to UNESCO’s official temple logo, the UGGp combination logo, or Kraatterijärvi Geopark’s own logo.

  • Termination of the right of use: the Geopark organisation has the right to revoke the partner logo usage rights immediately if the partner’s activities are contrary to the values or practices of the Geopark, or if the logo is misused.

  • Visibility and communications of the partnership network: the partner’s name may be published on the Impact Crater Lake Lappajärvi Geopark’s website, and the partner may receive communications related to the partnership.

  • Data protection: the information will be stored in the Geopark partner and logo register maintained by Järvi-Pohjanmaan Yrityspalvelu Oy, which administers the Impact Crater Lake Lappajärvi Geopark, for the purposes of monitoring logo use and partner communications.

Using the partner logo in practice

  • Website and social media: use the PNG file (transparent background) or JPG file.

  • Printed materials: use the PDF file (vector format remains sharp even when enlarged).

  • Colours and proportions: use only the official colour version; do not change the colours or proportions.

  • Placement: leave enough clear space around the logo and avoid busy backgrounds; do not add shadows or effects.
