OBSERVATION TOWER IN EVIJÄRVI
Lake Evijärvi has the highest number of islands out of all in southern Ostrobothnia -132. Evijärvi offers the best nesting conditions for many bird species, making it a place of great importance.
The observation tower is a wonderful and easy place for a little hike and is an excellent observation base.
It is located on the southwestern shore of Jokisuu bay and on the Valmosanneva. Valmosanneva is a protected area in terms of landscape, flora and birds. It is home of many rare species.
The walk is quite short and is a feast for the senses.
